Jacksonville's Mike Hollis kicked his third field goal of the game, a 21-yarder with 1:46 left, giving the Jaguars a 10-point lead and making it a two-possession game for the Jets. Jaguars DT Gary Walker and LB Kevin Hardy, who each had six solo tackles and a sack as Jacksonville blunted the Jets' attack all night.Jaguars (4-1) vs. Browns (0-5).

Bucs QB Trent Dilfer was intercepted by Darren Sharper at the Green Bay 33 with 13 seconds remaining. Until that point the Bucs, who had just given up the lead, still had a chance to get into field-goal range. Packers QB Brett Favre. On his 30th birthday, Favre once again saved the Packers. He engineered a late six-play, 73-yard drive to win the game and also completed 22 of 40 passes for a whopping 390 yards and two TDs.Packers (3-1) at Broncos (1-4).

Rams KR Tony Horne ripped off a 97-yard kick return for a touchdown just seconds after the Niners had cut their deficit to 28-20 late in the third quarter. Horne's return killed San Francisco's momentum and started the rout. Rams QB Kurt Warner and WR Isaac Bruce. Warner continues to be the story of the '99 season, throwing five more TD passes to raise his season total to 14. Bruce tied a team record by catching four of the TD tosses, including three in the first quarter. Rams (4-0) at Falcons (1-4).

Dolphins CB Terrell Buckley intercepted Peyton Manning's deflected pass with 16 seconds left, killing the Colts' final drive and sealing Miami's dramatic rally from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Dolphins QB Dan Marino. Criticized for his poor decisions last week by coach Jimmy Johnson, Marino made all the right moves Sunday. He threw for 393 yards and two TDs and was flawless on the winning drive. Dolphins (3-1) at Patriots (4-1).

Patriots K Adam Vinatieri clanged his potential game-winning field off the right upright with nine seconds remaining. The 32-yard kick would have been Vinatieri's third game-winning field goal this season. Chiefs LB Donnie Edwards. Edwards was a big reason why Kansas City held the potent Pats to 378 total yards and just 24:23 time of possession. The linebacker had a team-high nine tackles and a second-quarter interception. Chiefs (3-2) bye.

Eagles CB Bobby Taylor picked off Troy Aikman's pass to Jeff Ogden at the Cowboys' 24 with 47 remaining. Taylor returned the ball to the Cowboys 11, ending any hope of a Dallas comeback. Eagles RB Duce Staley. Staley didn't score any touchdowns, but he gave his team a solid running game with 110 yards on 22 carries. He played a key role with 24 rushing yards on the Eagles' final scoring drive. Eagles (1-4) at Bears (3-2).

Bears LB Barry Minter intercepted Randall Cunningham's pass at the Chicago 18 and returned it to midfield with 3:08 remaining. The Bears then took 2:25 off the clock with a 22-yard drive. Bears CBs Terry Cousin and Tom Carter. Cousin and Carter each had an interception that led to a Chicago scoring drive. Cousin's pick came in the second quarter, while Carter had his in the third. Bears (3-2) vs. Eagles (1-4).

Broncos CB Tory James intercepted Rich Gannon's second-down pass for Terry Mickens at the Denver 23 with 57 seconds left. Needing only a field goal to tie it, Oakland was in range when James ended the drive. Broncos QB Brian Griese. Benched and maligned after the champs' 0-4 start, Griese was forced back into the starting role, and the kid showed his grit. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 234 yards and made a couple of key scrambles. Broncos (1-4) vs. Packers (3-1).

Bills RB Jonathan Linton was able to run out the clock after the Steelers had cut their deficit to three points with 2:44 left. Linton ran four times for 21 yards, picking up two first downs that sealed it. Bills QB Doug Flutie. In an extremely efficient performance, Flutie completed his first 11 passes and finished 21-for-32 for 261 yards and three TDs. He also rushed seven times for 39 yards. Bills (4-1) vs. Raiders (2-3).

Bengals QB Akili Smith hit WR Carl Pickens in the end zone with five seconds remaining. The 2-yard touchdown pass capped off a 10-play, 80-yard drive in the final 2:04. Smith. The rookie made Cleveland regret not drafting him last spring, completing 25 of 41 passes for 221 yards and two TDs. He had 51 passing yards on the winning drive alone. The Giants failed to score after earning a first down at the Cards' 12 with roughly five minutes to go. QB Kerry Collins had moved New York 78 yards before throwing three incomplete passes on the drive's final series. Cardinals QB Jake Plummer. After weeks of frustration, Plummer returned to form. Despite missing part of the game with a hip pointer, he completed 13 of 19 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a TD. Cardinals (2-3) vs. Redskins (3-1).

With Baltimore out of timeouts, Ravens QB Stoney Case ran out of time, unable to get off a play at the Tennessee 41 in the final seconds after a 32-yard completion to Qadry Ismail. The teams combined for 293 penalty yards, including the Titans' NFL-record 212, so we're tempted to go with the zebras. But Ravens LB Ray Lewis was a one-man gang in defeat, making 13 solo tackles, including a takedown of Tennessee RB Rodney Thomas in the end zone for a safety. Titans (4-1) at Saints (1-3).

Chargers 20, Lions 10

Chargers CB Darryll Lewis returned a fumble 42 yards for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter, giving San Diego a 10-point lead, too much for the Lions to overcome against the Chargers' stout defense. Chargers LB Junior Seau, who keyed a defensive effort that held the Lions to 37 yards rushing (1.5 per attempt). Seau made 12 tackles, including seven solo stops. He also sacked Charlie Batch twice. Chargers (3-1) vs. Seahawks (3-1).

With the Saints on the Atlanta 49 and 13 seconds remaining, the Falcons' Gerald McBurrows came on a safety blitz and sacked New Orleans QB Billy Joe Tolliver, extinguishing the Saints' final hopes. Falcons K Morten Andersen, who snapped out of a season-long slump with fourth-quarter field goals from 36 and 44 yards, extending his NFL record for game-winning kicks to 26. Falcons (1-4) vs. Rams (4-0).
