Falcons' WR Tim Dwight, who caught seven passes for 162 yards and touchdowns of 5 and 60 yards. The speedy, second-year pro from Iowa also returned a punt 70 yards for a score. Raiders K Joe Nedney booted a 33-yard field goal 3:13 into overtime, giving Oakland its first victory at Arrowhead Stadium since 1988. The Raiders won the toss and marched 45 yards in eight plays for the game-winning kick. Raiders QB Rich Gannon. He gained sweet revenge against his former team, rallying Oakland from a 17-0 deficit to eliminate the Chiefs from the playoff race. Gannon hit 25 of 47 passes for 324 yards and three TDs. Chiefs (9-7) season over.

Jets K John Hall kicked a 35-yard field goal to give New York a 10-point lead with 4:21 remaining. That capped a nine-play drive that took 5:01 off the clock. Jets LB Roman Phifer picked off Jon Kitna three plays later, sealing Seattle's fate. Jets RB Curtis Martin. The workhorse back was unstoppable, running for 158 yards on a whopping 34 carries and scoring the game's only touchdown. Martin also caught three passes for 45 yards. Martin finished the season with 1,464 rushing yards. Seahawks (9-7) vs. Dolphins (9-7) in AFC wild-card game.

After being held to 26 yards on 22 carries in the first meeting with the Giants, Smith ran for 122 yards on 22 carries to power Dallas to an NFC wild-card spot.
