Gary Anderson's extra point gave the Vikes 20 unanswered second-half points.Moss, who again showed he was superior to Dallas' secondary by catching six passes for 91 yards and grabbing two TD passes.Vikings (5-4) at Bears (4-5).

Lions WR Johnnie Morton hauled in a 12-yard TD pass from Gus Frerotte to give Detroit a four-point lead with 28 seconds left. The play capped off an eight-play, 77-yard drive in which the Lions converted a fourth-and-28 with a 57-yard pass to Germane Crowell. Frerotte. When starting QB Charlie Batch went down with a thumb injury, the Lions hopped on the bus with Gus. Frerotte completed 12 of 16 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. The backup also showed great poise after the Rams rallied to take the lead with 2:42 left. Lions (6-2) at Cardinals (2-6).

Needing a touchdown and two-point conversion to tie it, Kansas City had driven to the Indianapolis' 39-yard line. Colts RB Edgerrin James. At midseason, this young Colt is threatening to run away with the race for Rookie of the Year. James had 199 total yards -- 109 on the ground and 90 on receptions. He also caught a 30-yard TD pass. Bills WR Eric Moulds, who returned to the lineup after missing two weeks with a hamstring injury, caught a 14-yard TD pass from Doug Flutie to give Buffalo a 31-10 lead with 50 seconds remaining in the third quarter. Flutie. After a couple of poor performances threatened to start the "Rob Johnson Watch," Flutie silenced his critics with a big day. The Bills QB threw for 211 yards and two TDs and ran for 40 yards. Most importantly, he wasn't intercepted. Bills (6-3) vs. Dolphins (7-1).

Bears DE Bryan Robinson blocked Ryan Longwell's 28-yard field-goal attempt as time expired. The Packers had a chance to win the game after driving 73 yards in the final 3:19. Robinson. Without Robinson's well-timed leap, the Bears would have gone home losers. The 25-year-old, who became a full-time starter this year, also had one solo and one assisted tackle. Trailing 24-3, the Browns went three-and-out on their first possession of the fourth quarter. On third-and-5, guard Scott Rehberg was called for a false-start penalty, and Ty Detmer followed with an incomplete pass. The Ravens regained possession and kicked a field goal. Ravens RB Errict Rhett. The sixth-year back took the drama out of the game early -- scoring on an 11-yard run to cap off the Ravens' first possession. He later had a 52-yard TD run to give Baltimore a commanding 24-3 lead. He finished with 17 carries for 117 yards. Ravens (3-5) at Jaguars (7-1).

Steelers WR Hines Ward hauled in a 13-yard TD pass from Kordell Stewart to give Pittsburgh a 14-3 lead with 2:52 left in the first quarter. The way the 49ers offense was playing, that early lead was more than safe. Stewart. On a sloppy field on a rainy day, all the Steelers QB really had to do was not make any mistakes. Stewart played a clean game, completing 15 of 26 passes for 139 yards and the TD pass to Ward. Steelers (5-3) vs. Browns (1-8).

Denver's Jason Elam kicked his fourth field goal of the game, a 24-yarder with 4:18 left in the fourth quarter that gave the Broncos a nine-point lead, too much for the error-prone Chargers to overcome. Terrell who? Broncos rookie RB Olandis Gary scored two TDs and ran 30 times for 108 yards, the first 100-yard day against the Chargers defense since Davis, the man he replaced, did it on Nov. 30, 1997. Broncos (3-6) at Seahawks (6-2).

Jon Kitna threw his third TD pass of the first half, a 10-yarder to Derrick Mayes with 4:59 left in the second quarter that gave Seattle a 28-10 lead. The Bengals haven't come close to scoring 28 in the past eight weeks. Let's split it between Kitna (14-for-24 for 202 yards and the three TDs) and Ricky Watters, who carried 27 times for 133 yards, ran 19 yards for one score and caught an 8-yard pass from Kitna for another. Seahawks (6-2) vs. Broncos (3-6).

Mark Brunell hit Keenan McCardell for a 2-yard TD pass to make it 27-7 with 1:41 left in the third quarter. The score capped a 44-yard drive that took 5:11 off the clock. Atlanta promptly went three-and-out on its next possession. Jaguars RB Fred Taylor. With 27 carries and 124 yards, Taylor continued his impressive comeback from a hamstring injury that kept him out of three games. He also caught two passes for 54 yards, including a 41-yard reception. Jaguars (7-1) vs. Ravens (3-5).

After the Saints kicked a field goal to cut the Bucs' lead to 24-9 early in the fourth quarter, Tampa Bay went on a 47-yard drive that took nearly nine minutes off the clock. The drive ended in a missed field goal. Bucs QB Trent Dilfer. Tampa Bay's longtime starter came back from being benched last week to have his best game of the year. He completed 15 of 20 passes for 227 yards and three TDs with no interceptions. Bucs (4-4) vs. Chiefs (5-3).

After New York took a 12-7 lead, Arizona faced two opponents -- the Jets and the wind -- on a possible go-ahead TD drive. After a holding penalty, fumble, short gain and incomplete pass, the Cardinals punted and never got the ball back. Jets RB Curtis Martin carried a whopping 38 times for 131 yards -- his third straight 100-yard game -- giving New York a consistent offensive option on a day when swirling winds made passing problematic. Jets (2-6) at Patriots (6-2).

Panthers 33, Eagles 7

Muhsin Muhammad caught his second TD pass of the second quarter, putting Carolina up 17-0 with 3:04 remaining. Sure, it was still the first half, but the Eagles have scored more than 17 points only twice all season, and it wasn't about to happen against the Panthers. Although defense (five forced turnovers) won the game for Carolina, Panthers QB Steve Beuerlein riddled the Eagles, completing 21 of 34 passes for 281 yards, three TDs and no interceptions. Beuerlein rebounded from a five-turnover game last week. Panthers (3-5) at Rams (6-2).
