No Tulsa. No Wyoming. What's the Bottom 10 to do? Here's what you had to say about the week 11 rankings:
Missing you - Part 1 We appreciate your sentiments, but cannot reciprocate your feelings. Wyoming will not miss you!
John Bishop
Wyoming remains No. 10? Did you actually watch that game? We completely blew an easy win. Wyoming should be No. 5 or higher in the Bottom 10. Coaching was terrible. Wyoming won't win a game the rest of the season, unfortunately! Lay off the uniforms though, we have enough problems without ESPN raggin on us about that too!
Shawn Lanning
Your continued harping on Wyoming's uniforms is amusing to me. It shows both a lack of taste and originality. Maybe just like every other school we could be red or blue. Then we could all look, dress and think the same about everything. The uniforms represent the individuality and unbroken western spirit of the people of the state of Wyoming. So what if they are not flashy or cute. The colors brown and gold and the bucking horse symbol are dear to the hearts of the people of Wyoming and are so important that going back to the First World War many of our veterans have sewn them on their uniforms in times of service. Trashing one of college sports great traditions is just crass and uneducated. Let the people of Wyoming decide how to array our sports teams and let the unleaned pundits in Bristol just call the games.

Sing to tune of Garth Brook's "Friends in low places"
Blame it all on our roots, we showed up in boots Its nice to be off the bottom ten list, so take our uniforms off the waiting list, and go pick on someone else for awhile! GO POKES!!! Shawn Lanning Laramie, Wyo.
Missing you - Part 2 How can you punt Tulsa completely off the list?? They beat an obviously poor team who was forced to use their THIRD STRING QUARTERBACK the entire game, due to prior injuries to 1st and 2cd stringers. Also note the fans, so excited at ending the nation's longest losing streak, managed to bring down only ONE goal post. The one at the South end still stands tauntingly.
Art Robinson
There is no way Tulsa should be bumped out of the Bottom 10 for screwing up and winning one lousy game. they've worked hard to keep that top spot for so long and they dont even recieve a vote? Come on now. You better believe that Tulsa is going to be fired up and ready to do everything in their power to get back in the Bottom 10 against Rice this weekend. Look for them to fight their way back to the top by season's end!

As for the new No. 1 ... The Long Grey Line really does stiffen watching defeat victory snatched from the jaws of defeat. It's still a beautiful place to watch a game, eventhough it's frequently over before halftime.

West Point is known for its strive toward excellence, and so whenever they do anything they are the best at anything. So, the Army football team is carrying on in that tradition, because no one can lose quite as well as the army football team! Go Army! Beat Navy!

Here's a quote you may like (also from General Douglas MacArthur): "Upon the fields of friendly strife are sown the seeds upon other fields; on other days, will bear the fruits of victory." Army may not be the "best" by your standards, but we are the best by the world's standards at what we do. The friendly fields of college football are just another place where we can gain valuable experience to protect the freedoms we all enjoy today. GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH!

When you lose to Tulsa ... It's nice to see UTEP back on the list after a loss to the team with the most consecutive weeks on the bottom ten. ESPN was right, when you lose to Tulsa you deserve the ranking. Maybe they need to schedule the Bottom 10 Bowl. I think we could actually do a playoff for this championship. The highlight of the year could be a 0-0 tie with UTEP and Army

Glory days Once you've been national champs, it's hard to change. Maybe it's time Rutgers shakes things up. The playbook from the glory days (actually, glory day - 1869) doesn't seem to be working. The bright spot is that even recruiting violations are a step in the right direction!

Election Day Given that Election Day will be held this coming week, you should rank my alma mater, the Northwestern Puddycats, down where you now list Army, if only to pay "tribute" to NU's unique record of futility... the ballot box. Northwestern alums have a record in the big races that no other school can match... or would want to. Six times a Northwestern alum was nominated for President, and each time the guy go beat (and each time by a bigger margin). For the record, the hapless Presidential wannabes were William Jennings Bryan in 1896, 1900 and 1908; Adlai E. Stevenson in 1952 and 1956; and George McGovern in 1972. Need I go further?

Take my team I'd like to welcome SMU back to the Bottom 10. Maybe they can apply for a discounted lifetime membership. Everything about them is Bottom 10 from their grating fight song ( think "she'll be coming around the mountain" played 3 times as fast by third graders with amplified kazoos every other play) to the laughable Coaches radio show where the only thing missing is someone to hit rimshots on a snaredrum after he says straight faced how competitive they will be each week before getting the same treatmment Gen. Custer got. They need to dig up Henny Youngman so he could end each show with, "Take my team.................PLEASE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bob
And the nominees are ... Where are the Memphis Tigers? They are certainly deserving of your "Bottom 10" list based on their on field performance. 48 to 10 at horrible Cincy and they did not play the basketball team. Big Time former SEC coach with a team that commits 6 turnovers in a game. A 2 and 6 record in one of the weakest conferences in the nation. They deserve the honor, R.C. Johnson deserves the honor, don't deny them their due.
Robert
Even more frustrating than being left out of the BCS last year, is being left out of the Bottom 10 for the second week in a row. Now I know there is definately a conspiracy against BYU. The Cougs will always be on the outside looking in. A solid loss to SDSU may be what the Cougars need to break into the top 10. If not the Pokies from Wyoming will have us there in two weeks.
Jason
I agree that both ULM and UL-L are deserving of the Bottom 10, but at least the Indians have been able to put more than 20 points on the board. I feel that ULM should no longer be connected with the pathetic Cajuns. I'll also put my vote for Nov 26th, ULM vs UL-L, Pillow fight of the year.

North Carolina could use some consideration this season, don't you think? A loss to past Bottom 10 No.1 Duke later this season would cement the deal, I think. But a 31-0 shellacking at the hands of perennial cupcake Wake Forest should at least but the Tarheels on the waiting list.
David
Where's Duke on your list? Oh, and what about Arizona... beating up on non-conference foes is meaningless these guys are doing the 0-fer in Pac-10 play with no promise of winning even one!
Steven
PLEASE put Michigan State in your Bottom 10 if they lose to Michigan this week. Put us Spartan fans out of our pre-basketball season misery. We can't take it any more. Our team is a disaster. We MUST be one of the worst 10 teams out there. Come on! Army beat MSU in the 1984 Cherry Bowl, and they could do it again!
Dave
How can Kansas not be in the Bottom 10. They help Baylor end their streak of futility in the Big 12 and have shown absolutely no possibility of winning in their next few games. They've been dropped by their fans and even the football players are looking forward to basketball season. The only think that keeps them going is are the free donuts available before the game courtesy of Coach Mangino. If that's not deserving of a spot in the Bottom 10, I don't know what is.
