Here are two extra Mystery Photo responses we received last week to accompany this photo of cyclist Lance Armstrong.
He was lookin' for a soul to steal He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind And he was willing to make a deal When he came across this young man Climbing L'Alpe-d'Huez and riding it hot The devil jumped and ran down the road And said, "Boy let me tell you what "I guess you didn't know it But I'm a Tour de France fan too And if you'd care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you "Now you seem to be climbing fine, boy But give the devil his due I bet a jersey of gold against your soul 'Cause I think Jan Ullrich's better than you" The boy said "My name's Lance Armstrong And it might be a sin But I'll take your bet and you're gonna regret 'Cause I'm the best that's ever been" Lance you start peddling your bike And start climbing towards the top 'Cause Hell's broke loose in the Alps And the devil he won't hardly stop And if you win You get that shiny jersey color o' gold But if you lose The devil gets your soul Jon Schultheiss Hoboken, NJ "The devil went down to France 'Cuz he was lookin for a bike to steal, He was in a bind 'cause he was Lance behind And now he's running up to catch his wheel Well when he came up on this fast man Peddlin on a cycle and ridin it hot the devil jumped up on a road bump And said, "Boy let me tell you what "I guess you didn't know it But I'm a Tour rider too And if you'd care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you "Now you ride a pretty good cycle But give the devil his due I bet a Jersey of Gold against your soul 'Cause I think I'm gonna beat you" The boy said "My name's Lance And it might be a jive But I'll take your bet and you're gonna regret 'Cause I'm the fastest man alive" Lance you oil up your chains And spin your wheels real fast 'Cause Hell's broke loose in the Pyrenees And the devil won't finish last And if you win You get this shiny jersey made of gold But if you lose The devil gets your soul The devil jumped on a nasty red bike And he said "I'll start this race" And fire flew from his cycle's wheels As he set a nasty pace And he pedaled the bike across the Rhine And his wheels made an evil sound Then a Pelaton of demons joined in And as they past by they shook the ground When the devil finished, Lance said, "Well you're pretty good, old man But sit down there in that bicycle seat And let me tell you you're just an 'also ran' " {Refrain} Lance always has the fastest climb The devil's in the land of cheese and wine Chicken in the world cup "What was that?"
