Breaking it down: Talk about expectations. Vick was on the cover of every preseason magazine and was all but handed the Heisman before the season started. With teams gunning for him every week, it wasn't easy for Vick. Then, an ankle injury slowed him down and forced him to limp through the Hokies biggest game of the year -- a loss to Miami -- and slowed his Heisman hopes as well. But they weren't derailed completely. Vick was still dangerous running the ball, averaging six yards a carry and scoring eight TDs. While his passing numbers were down, he still threw for over 1,200 yards and eight TDs.
