Derek Jeter
Derek Jeter has led the Yanks to three straight World Series titles.
On the surface, it appears that Derek Jeter has it all. The Yankees shortstop owns the city of New York, plus four World Series rings, a 10-year contract worth more than $190 million, striking good looks and a history of gorgeous girlfriends.

But there's one thing Jeter doesn't possess -- a catchy nickname. Not even the New York tabloids have anointed Jeet with a moniker that has stuck.

So, we've opened up another case of The Berman Files and enlisted your help to give the Prince of New York a suitable moniker.

Check back next week for another case of The Berman Files.

We received more than 1,800 letters suggesting nicknames. Below at the most clever ideas we received for Jeter, and the poll results to choose the best nickname are at left.
