GREENSBORO, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Ivan Novoseltsev scored twice as the Florida Panthers rallied for a 2-2 exhibition tie with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Jaroslav Spacek assisted on both goals for the Panthers, who remained one of three winless teams in the preseason, moving to 0-4-2.

Gary Roberts and Steve Halko scored for the Hurricanes, who continued their tour of the Carolinas. They defeated Atlanta in Charleston, South Carolina on Friday after beating Washington in Fayetteville on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old Novoseltsev, a left wing who has drawn comparisons to teammate Pavel Bure, cut Florida's deficit to 2-1 at 9:12 of the second period and tied it with 2:56 to play in the third.

Novoseltsev has three preseason goals after totaling 54 in 63 games last year for Sarnia of the Ontario Hockey League.

Arturs Irbe wilted under Florida's late pressure but finished with 33 saves. Sean Burke stopped 24 shots for the Panthers.
