ESPN.com Editor's note: During the NCAA Tournament, ESPN.com's Bio Rhythm series profiled more than a dozen of the nation's top women's college basketball players. On the court, Nikki Teasley has often laid down the law. The North Carolina junior, for example, helped the Tar Heels earn a spot in the Sweet 16 on Monday after scoring 16 points and dishing out nine assists as North Carolina routed Rice 83-50 in a second-round NCAA Tournament game.
But when the 6-foot guard is done playing hoops, she hopes to someday become a police officer and uphold the law. Teasley shared her dream while completing a survey for ESPN.com. More than 20 players were asked to participate, and the Tournament Dish will continue to roll out the Bio Rhythms -- a fun and humorous look at the athlete by the athlete -- throughout the women's NCAA Tournament. For more on Teasley, check our her responses below: Favorite food: Mama's fried chicken. Favorite TV show: WWF SmackDown! Favorite movie: Money Talks. Favorite book: The Color Purple. How did you get started playing basketball? I have four brothers, so I got started in basketball and other sports by following them around. I started playing basketball when I was 8. What is your best memory or moment on the basketball court? I would say playing our ACC championship game against Duke on March 6. It was a great game all around. We had fun and fought hard. Of course, we didn't win, so it's a good motivator, too. Do you have any pregame rituals? One of my older brothers, Ernie, was killed in a car accident and I carry his license with me every game. Before the game, I kiss the license and put it under the edge of my spandex shorts, on my left leg. As for favorite pregame meal, chicken fingers and french fries. I also listen to rap music, and have to be the last one out of the locker room. (Junior guard) Juana Brown and I are the last two out, but I always have to be last, even if I have to hang back and wait for other people. Who is the best player you've ever faced? The best men's player is Vince Carter. The best women's player is Tracy Reid. Which player -- man or woman -- would you most like to take one-on-one? Allen Iverson. Person you'd most like to meet? The Rock (wrestler). Tell us something we don't know about you: I like to play the drums. I write and rap my own songs. I'd like to be a police officer after I graduate.
