ESPN.com If Pat Summitt was coming to see you play basketball, you'd be nervous enough. Add in the fact you were in an accident and totaled your car just hours before tipoff, and well, you might show up without your A-game.
That's exactly what happened to Tennessee junior Semeka Randall during her senior year of high school, but as it turned out, Randall's poor performance didn't matter. "I played terrible," Randall writes, "so it was a good thing I had already signed with Tennessee." And of course, three years later, Randall already has All-American honors and a national championship to her name. She says winning the NCAA title is among her best memories on the court, but admits that day with Pat in the stands is probably the most memorable. Randall owned up to the poor performance while completing a survey for ESPN.com. More than 20 players were asked to participate, and the Tournament Dish will continue to roll out the Bio Rhythms -- a fun and humorous look at the athlete by the athlete -- throughout the women's NCAA Tournament. What is your best memory or moment on the basketball court? Winning two state championships in high school and winning the NCAA championship as a freshman in college at Tennessee. However, my most memorable moment was when I wrecked my car on the way to the gym my senior year in high school and (Vols coach) Pat Summitt was in town to watch me play. I played terrible so it was a good thing I had already signed with Tennessee. Do you have any pregame rituals? I listen to music in my portable CD player to the bus and on the ride to the gym if we are away. At home games, I listen to music in my car on the way to the arena and continue to listen to the music in the locker room with my teammates. Who is the best player you've ever faced? Dominique Canty. Which player -- man or woman -- would you most like to take one-on-one? Vince Carter. Person you'd most like to meet? Jesus. Tell us something we don't know about you: I go to bed every night at 10:30 p.m. and wake up every morning at 6:30 a.m. -- without an alarm. It can be a problem when we're on a trip and my teammate likes to sleep late.
