VIENNA, Austria -- Wimbledon champion Roger Federer outclassed Jarkko Nieminen 6-3, 6-3 Friday to reach the semifinals of the CA Tennis Trophy.
The top-seeded Federer next faces Max Mirnyi, who beat Feliciano Lopez 7-6 (5), 6-4.
On the other half of the draw, second-seeded Carlos Moya eliminated Nicolas Kiefer 6-4, 7-6 (5), while Tim Henman had less trouble getting past Jonas Bjorkman 6-1, 6-4. |
