BOX SCORE
EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- Phil Housley had a hand in all five goals, scoring the tying tally and setting up Travis Brigley's game-winner with 4:50 left as the Calgary Flames rallied for a 5-4 exhibition victory over the Edmonton Oilers. Housley finished with a goal and four assists, helping Calgary improve to 3-5 in exhibition play. He took a drop pass from Cory Stillman and fired a slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle with 9:24 remaining. Less than four minutes later, Housley gloved down a loose puck at the right point and threw a shot toward the net. Brigley tipped it past goaltender Bill Ranford to cap Calgary's three-goal third period. Jeff Shantz, Andrei Nazarov and Stillman also scored for the Flames, who got 19 saves from Fred Brathwaite. Calgary defenseman Derek Morris suffered an injured right hand early in the second period after a brawl with Alexander Selivanov. Doug Weight, Janne Niinimaa and Ryan Smyth scored power-play goals for the Oilers, which fell to 5-3.
