Ennis doesn't accompany team to Pasadena

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue running back Steve
Ennis was suspended indefinitely Friday and will not accompany
the team to California for the Rose Bowl against Washington on
New Year's Day.
Coach Joe Tiller said Ennis has been disciplined for "conduct
detrimental to the squad." Tiller gave no additional information.
A sophomore from Flower Mound, Texas, Ennis is used often in
short-yardage situations and has rushed for 82 yards and eight
touchdowns.
Sedrick Brown probably will pick up more playing time with Ennis out.
