Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner War Emblem's remarkable run for a Triple Crown ended shockingly Saturday, along with his trainer Bob Baffert's hope to avenge two close calls, when the colt was beaten by the Ken McPeek-trained 70-1 longshot Sarava in the $1,000,000 Belmont Stakes. War Emblem stumbled out of the gate and made a run late before fading back to finish eighth.
