INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Sam Perkins led a fourth-quarter surge and Al Harrington and Mark Jackson scored five points each in overtime as the Indiana Pacers rallied for a 108-101 exhibition victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was the final NBA game at Market Square Arena, which has been home to the Pacers since they entered the league in 1976. The team is moving into the new Conseco Fieldhouse, with its first game in the new facility November 6. Perkins scored 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, when the Pacers scored 32 points and erased a nine-point deficit. Harrington and Jackson each scored a basket during a 6-0 burst that opened the extra session. Reggie Miller also scored 20 points and Harrington added 18 for Indiana (3-1), which shot under 40 percent (35-of-88) from the field. Jackson scored just one point in regulation. Rik Smits grabbed 13 rebounds and Dale Davis pulled down 12 as the Pacers enjoyed a 54-48 edge on the glass. Kevin Garnett had 25 points and 12 rebounds and rookie Wally Szczerbiak scored 23 points for the Timberwolves (2-2), who shot 46 percent (41-of-89). Timberwolves rookie guard William Avery scored six points on just 2-of-9 shooting. He and Szczerbiak were taken eight picks apart in the June draft.
