Earnhardt Remembered with 13-hour tribute
A Day for Dale
ESPN Classic salutes seven-time Winston Cup champion Dale Earnhardt with a 13-hour tribute on Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. ET. Earnhardt, known as "The Intimidator" for his intense driving style, was killed on Feb. 18, 2001 on the last lap of the Daytona 500, the same track where Earnhardt won 34 races, including the 1998 500. A Day for Dale celebrates some of Earnhardt's greatest victories.
