Dale Earnhardt ends Harry Gant's run at a modern-record five straight NASCAR Winston Cup victories.
noon - 1989 Peak Performance 500
Earnhardt outruns Mark Martin in a two-car battle over the final 34 laps.
2 p.m. - 1991 Hanes 500
Earnhardt gets the 50th victory of his NASCAR career on his 39th birthday. He takes the lead on lap 464 and holds on to beat Kyle Petty by 3.4 seconds.
4 p.m. - 2000 Cracker Barrel Old County Store 500
Earnhardt and Bobby Labonte battle all the way down to the finish line where Earnhardt squeaks out the victory by .010 seconds, a margin less than two feet.
6 p.m. - 1989 Budweiser 500
Earnhardt dominates the race, leading for 454 of the 500 laps and holding off Mark Martin by a half-second for his first victory ever at Dover Downs International Speedway.
8 p.m. - Dale Earnhardt Remembered
9 p.m. - Classic Pit Stop
1999 Goody's 500
Earnhardt's 73rd career win gives him his first multiple victory season since 1996, and comes after a controversial tapping of Terry Labonte which sends Labonte into a spin, guaranteeing his victory.
