BRONX, New York (Ticker) -- The game between the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and New York Yankees was postponed one day due to rain. Originally an off day for both teams, Thursday's contest is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EDT. Tampa Bay will push former Yankee Dave Eiland (1-1) back a day and New York will do the same with ace righthander Orlando Hernandez (4-1). The Yankees play at Detroit on Friday, while Tampa Bay returns home to face Toronto.
