TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) _ Greg Norton was 4-for-6 with a homer, double and four RBIs, and Paul Konerko was 2-for-3 with a home run Sunday as the Chicago White Sox routed the Anaheim Angels 16-3.

Konerko is hitting .583 (14-for-24) in his last seven games with three homers and eight RBIs.

Norton's three-run homer in the first off loser Ken Hill gave him an 11-game hitting streak. Norton is batting .550 during the streak with three homers and seven doubles.

Konerko hit a solo homer in the fifth off Steve Mintz, a drive that carried over the 420-foot mark in center field.

Chicago had 22 hits off seven pitchers.

"Pitchers are trying to work on things," Konerko said. "It's not truly like a game situation, so I think that helps the hitters. But, I've also been working hard. I'm trying to go up the middle more and go the other way and so far so good."

Hill allowed six runs and nine hits in four innings.

"I got behind the count today," Hill said. "At this level, you get behind and you've got to come in, and you can get into some trouble and pay a price."

Jim Edmonds hit a two-run homer in the first off Kip Wells. Mo Vaughn then chased Wells with a line drive that struck the pitcher in the right shoulder.

Wells will have X-rays, but the injury was thought to be only a bruise.
