SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Miguel Tejada homered, had three hits and three RBIs as the Oakland Athletics beat the San Francisco Giants 5-3 on Sunday to win their sixth straight game.

Ben Grieve and Ramon Hernandez, who had two hits, also hit homers for the A's.

Ron Mahay, in contention for a spot in the A's rotation, allowed a home run to Barry Bonds but not much else in four innings to gain the victory. He gave up four hits, walked three and struck out two.

"I felt great, but didn't have a good feel with my fastball," Mahay said. "I just prayed I didn't throw a mistake pitch."

Joe Nathan took the loss for the Giants after giving up four runs on six hits over three innings. He also walked four and struck out three.

Tejada hit a two-run homer to open the scoring in the second. He also doubled home a run in the eighth.

Bonds drove in two runs for San Francisco. After Felipe Crespo tripled with one out in the fifth, Bonds hit an infield grounder that scored Crespo, who had two hits in the game. Bobby Estatella also had two hits.

Calvin Murray doubled home a run in the ninth.
