  RECAP | BOX SCORE

SEATTLE (AP) -- Robin Threatt scored 19 points and the Seattle Storm shot a franchise best as the Storm defeated the Indiana Fever 66-60 Tuesday night.

"This game was payback for us," Threatt said. "We embarrassed ourselves back there. Our loss to them back there was one of the low points of the season."

Indiana won the first meeting 64-45 and outscored the Storm 35-15 over the last 12:31 of the game. In the teams' second meeting, the Storm put together one of its best performances of the season.

Led by Threatt's 7-for-11 shooting, the Storm shot a franchise-best 52 percent (26 of 50) in winning for just the second time in the past 13 games.

Seattle controlled play for most of the game, leading by nine at halftime and never surrendering the lead. After the Fever pulled within 57-55 with 3:40 remaining, Threatt hit a baseline jumper for a 59-55 Storm lead. Sonja Henning added a layup for a 61-55 lead and Indiana could not get closer than four points the rest of the way.

Jamie Redd had 16 points, 14 in the second half, and Andrea Garner and Henning added 10 points apiece for Seattle, which snapped a four-game losing streak. Redd was 5-for-8 from the field and scored seven straight points during one stretch in the second half.

Storm coach Lin Dunn was proud of her team's effort.

"We got big games from Jamie (Redd), Andrea (Garner) and Robin, but our effort was super and it made all the difference in the world," Dunn said.

It was the first victory for the expansion Storm (5-23) against one of the other three first-year teams.

Kara Wolters led Indiana (7-20) with 15 points and nine rebounds. Gordana Grubin and Rita Williams also scored 15 points.

"Redd and Threatt were awesome," Wolters said. "They got into a groove and we couldn't stop them."

The Fever wrapped up a five-game Western road trip with a 1-4 record.
