CLEVELAND (AP) -- Rookie Ann Wauters scored 12 points to lead the Cleveland Rockers to a 61-49 victory over the expansion Seattle Storm on Saturday night. Wauters, a 6-foot-4 center from Belgium who was the first overall pick in the WNBA draft in April, used a variety of quick moves inside to score in double figures for the first time in five games. Eva Nemcova scored 11 points and Chasity Melvin had 10 for Cleveland (4-1), which stretched its winning streak to four after an opening-night loss under new coach Dan Hughes. Simone Edwards scored 17 points to lead Seattle (1-5), which was coming off its first victory, 67-62 Friday night in Charlotte. Edna Campbell added 11 points for the Storm. The Rockers used an early rebounding edge to outscore the Storm 12-0 on fast-break points in the first half and open a 31-21 halftime lead. Cleveland has been a force on the offensive boards in each of its victories this season. The Rockers held a 11-7 offensive rebounding advantage over the Storm, and have a 55-23 edge in their four wins. Suzie McConnell Serio had six assists for the Rockers, which held a 22-10 advantage over the Storm. Wauters scored eight consecutive points midway through the second half, helping Cleveland open its largest lead at 56-35. | ALSO SEE WNBA Scoreboard RECAPS Los Angeles 76 Phoenix 57
