COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Ante Razov scored on a penalty kick and Tom Soehn scored his first Major League Soccer goal as the Chicago Fire rallied to tie Columbus in regulation, then beat the Crew in a shootout for a 3-2 victory Sunday. It was the regular season finale for both teams, who had already clinched playoff berths. The Fire (18-14) scored on two of five attempts in the shootout to just one goal of five for the Crew (19-13). Soehn tied the game 2-2 in the 75th minute on a header after Crew goalkeeper Mark Dougherty misjudged a corner kick by Peter Nowak. The Crew made it 2-0 in the 65th minute on a corner kick by Robert Warzycha crossed to Jeff Cunningham, who headed the ball past Fire goalkeeper Zach Thornton. But one minute later Crew defenseman Todd Yeagley fouled the Fire's Paul Dougherty and Razov converted the penalty kick to make it 2-1. Stern John opened the scoring for the Crew in the 5th minute as Mike Clark crossed the ball from 20 yards and Brian McBride headed to John. With Sunday's attendance of 18,979, the Crew finished with a regular season average of 17,696, tops in the league. Los Angeles was second with an average attendance of 17,632. | ALSO SEE Soccer Scoreboard RECAPS Chicago 3 Columbus 2
