June is Nickname Month on Page 2 as we continue our search for the best monikers in all of sports.

Today, we're out to find the best nickname in the history of hockey. Check out the top 10 as voted by Page 2's editorial staff for the best all-time nickname in hockey.

We'll run our readers' list Friday, along with a poll to pick the best hockey nickname of all-time.

1. The Chicoutimi Cucumber (Georges Vezina)
Pays respects to his hometown in Quebec and shows how calm and cool he was in the net.

2. Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion
Canadiens great had a fantastic slap shot.

3. "The Golden Jet" (Bobby Hull)
Combined his finer attributes of blond hair and fast skating.

4. Lorne "Gump" Worsley
Before there was Forrest, this legendary goalie was Gump in honor of comic strip character Andy Gump.

5. "The Great One" (Wayne Gretzky)
Says it all.

6. "Mr. Hockey" (Gordie Howe)
Also known as "Old Elbows."

7. "The Pocket Rocket" (Henri Richard)
Younger brother to "Rocket" Richard, Henri holds record for most Stanley Cups as a player.

8. "Terrible" Ted Lindsay
Small but mean.

9. Dave "Tiger" Williams
All-time leader in penalty minutes was "Tiger" long before the golfer.

10. "Grapes" (Don Cherry)
