After we opened another case for The Berman Files, Page 2 readers flooded us with more than 700 letters suggesting nicknames for Diamondbacks slugger Luis Gonzalez.

Luis "Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Ball" Gonzalez
Well, the temptation is to play off this recent homerun streak with something like Luis "Going, Going" Gonzalez (or, in a more abstract vein, play off an ESPN announcer's home run call with something like "LOO-YAH!" or Luis "Aloha Means" Gonzalez. In any case, with a name like Gonzalez, you really have to work with the first half of the name. ... My call: I think most NL pitchers this year would agree that the most fearsome slugger in baseball right now is Luis "Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Ball" Gonzalez.
