 PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Martin Lapointe and Yuri Butsayev scored power play goals in a four-goal second period that carried the Detroit Red Wings to a 6-3 preseason win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday night. Lapointe broke a 1-1 tie at 2:08 of the second period when he deflected Larry Murphy's shot past goalie Sebastien Caron. Butsayev scored at 12:32, starting a streak of three goals in less than three minutes. Boyd Devereaux scored at 14:24 and Steve Brule expanded the lead to 5-1 at 15:14. Detroit's Jason Williams scored the first goal of the game at 2:33 of the first period. Jan Hrdina tied the score for Pittsburgh at 3:05.
