LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Trevor Kidd stopped 26 shots and Brian Finley and Corey Hirsch combined for 28 saves as the Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators battled to a scoreless exhibition tie.

Kidd, who recorded two shutouts for Carolina last season, turned aside six shots in the first period, 11 in the second and seven in the third.

Finley, the sixth overall pick in the 1999 draft, made 18 saves before leaving midway through the second period. Hirsch stopped the final 10 shots. The Predators posted two shutouts as an expansion team last season.

Both teams had two shots in overtime.

Nashville and Florida are only two winless teams in the preseason. The Predators (0-5-3) were 0-for-6 on the power play, while the Panthers (0-4-3) were 0-for-5.
