Started all 16 games at running back for Arizona, leading the team with 780 yards rushing ... Had Arizona's only 100-yard rushing day of the season, a 118-yard effort on 28 carries in an overtime win over Washington.

Had one of the finest seasons ever by a rookie running back ... Became first Cardinal to rush for 1,000 yards, tallying 1,018 yards on the season ... First Cardinal rookie to do it since Ottis Anderson in 1979 ... Finished third in rushing among NFL running backs behind Jerome Bettis and Reggie Brooks ... His nine touchdowns led all rookies and was second in the NFC ... That total also set a club record ... Tied club record with 36 carries in one game ... Scored first NFL touchdown on an 18-yard run just two days after learning of his older brother's death ... Became only the fifth rookie to rush for four touchdowns in a game, joining Jim Brown, Gale Sayers, Earl Campbell and Emmitt Smith ... Those four touchdowns came in a 38-10 win over Los Angeles.
