VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Cliff Robinson scored 27 points and Rodney Rogers added 26 off the bench as the Phoenix Suns beat Vancouver 101-86 Friday night to send the Grizzlies to their 11th straight loss, matching their longest slump of the season. The Suns won for the 17th time in their last 22 outings and extended their winning streak over the Grizzlies to 10 straight. Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Michael Dickerson had 14 each for the lifeless Grizzlies, who committed a season-high 28 turnovers. It was the fifth time in seven games that the Grizzlies had 20 or more turnovers. Jason Kidd was two rebounds shy of another triple-double, picking up 15 points and 12 assists for Phoenix. Despite shooting 39 percent and committing 15 turnovers in the opening 24 minutes, the Grizzlies were still in the contest at halftime, trailing 42-36 as Phoenix also had 15 turnovers. With Vancouver point guard Mike Bibby picking up three fouls in the first half, the Grizzlies were forced into a variety of defensive schemes in an effort to slow down Kidd. Bibby was frustrated throughout the game by Kidd, finishing with seven points in 27 minutes. The Grizzlies went to a four-guard offense through a large portion of the second half, but the move did little to get Vancouver back into the contest. Notes: Suns forward Tom Gugliotta had successful knee surgery Friday in Phoenix. He will be out for one year. .. The Grizzlies began play Friday having allowed their last four opponents to shoot 50 percent or better from the field. ... The game marked the start of a nine-game homestand for Vancouver.
