LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Derrick Coleman scored 31 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Charlotte Hornets erased a 20-point deficit in less than eight minutes and beat the Los Angeles Clippers 118-101 Friday night. Eddie Jones added 21 points and Elden Campbell had 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets, who outscored the Clippers 53-15 during a 14:32 span of the second half and dealt Los Angeles its fifth straight loss and 32nd in the last 35 games. Derek Anderson scored 24 points and Tyrone Nesby added 20 for the Clippers, who have lost five straight to the Hornets. Rookie Lamar Odom recorded his second triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. It's been quite a skid for the Clippers. In the other four defeats, they surrendered 61 points to Shaquille O'Neal of the Lakers; blew a 14-point lead to Toronto before losing on a 3-point buzzer-beater by Vince Carter; gave up 42 free throws to the Cleveland Cavaliers; and surrendered 13 3-point baskets to the Houston Rockets while at the same time establishing a franchise worst for field-goal percentage of 26.8. ^
