DALLAS (AP) _ Allen Iverson scored 29 points, including two free throws with 17.1 seconds left that capped a rally, as Philadelphia beat Dallas 101-100 on Tuesday night. The 76ers, who had lost their last three, trailed by 10 just seconds into the fourth quarter, but within minutes tied it at 89. A basket by George Lynch put them ahead 99-98 for the first time in the period. New All-Star Michael Finley answered with a jumper at 28.4 seconds and appeared to be the hero again when he snagged a rebound of an Iverson miss. But officials said Cedric Ceballos fouled Iverson on the play and the league's leading scorer swished his first free throw and bounced the second in off the front rim. Finley had the ball on Dallas' last possession, but he gave it up to Dirk Nowitzki. As the double-team ran to him, he dumped the ball to Steve Nash, who didn't seem to be expecting it. An ugly lob that bounced off the rim at the buzzer reflected that. A smiling Iverson ran off the court and hugged coach Larry Brown, who moved into sole possession of 10th place on the career victory list with 708. On the other end of the floor, the Mavericks _ who ended a four-game winning streak _ were still upset about the foul called on Ceballos. Finley walked slowly to the scorer's table and gave it a loud whack with his fist. Theo Ratliff was a huge inside presence for Philadelphia, scoring a season-high 25 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Dallas, possibly playing its last game without Dennis Rodman, was outrebounded 54-39. Rodman was in town deciding whether to sign with his hometown team. Ceballos led the Mavericks with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Finley had 21 points and Shawn Bradley added 17. Notes: Former Mavs star Derek Harper received a standing ovation during a first-half timeout. He joined the team's front office Monday. ... This was the first Dallas-Philadelphia game since February 1998. The teams meet again in four weeks. ... The 76ers avoided their longest losing streak of the season. ... Dallas had won seven of nine, its best stretch in five years.
