LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Antawn Jamison had 24 points and 12 rebounds and John Starks returned from the injured list to score 20 points as the Golden State Warriors humiliated the Los Angeles Clippers 107-76 on Tuesday night.

Donyell Marshall added 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Warriors, who enjoyed their most lopsided victory of the season despite entering the game with the worst record in the Western Conference. It was their fourth victory in six games following an 11-game losing streak.

Tyrone Nesby scored 20 points for Los Angeles, which lost for the 15th time in 17 games following a season-best three-game winning streak. The loss was their 10th this season by 20 or more points.

The Clippers, who won their previous three games against the Warriors by a combined margin of eight points, made only four of 22 shots in the third quarter as Golden State built a 73-51 lead.

Starks, who missed the Warriors' previous nine games because of tendinitis in his right knee, hit 3-pointers on both ends of an 11-2 run that increased their six-point halftime lead to 59-44 with 9 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter.

Starks' fourth and final 3-pointer of the game gave the Warriors their biggest lead, 80-53, with 9:36 remaining. The Clippers got no closer than 19 points after that.

Golden State's 48-42 halftime margin was the biggest for either team during the first two quarters. Marshall had 12 points in the half, while Jamison contributed 10 points and nine rebounds. Sam Jacobson's 21-foot jumper put the Warriors ahead to stay with 8:22 left in the second period.

Notes: Sixth-year assistant coach Rod Higgins returned to the Golden State bench after nearly being hired as head coach of the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan wanted to hire his former Chicago Bulls roommate last week to replace the fired Gar Heard, but the teams could not agree on adequate compensation for the Warriors. The Wizards then hired Darrell Walker. ... Hall of Famer Dave Cowens, who coached Boston and Charlotte, made his debut as an assistant coach with the Warriors. ... The 24-second shot clock was taken out of service for the last four minutes of the first quarter because it kept resetting at 26 seconds. The Warriors were assessed their only 24-second violation two minutes after the clock was fixed. ... Warriors forward Jason Caffey missed the game because of the flu. ... Brian Skinner, who missed 21 games because of a sprained left ankle, returned to the Clippers' lineup and played seven scoreless minutes without a rebound. ... Jamison, who will represent the Warriors in the All-Star slam dunk competition in Oakland, had none against the Clippers. ... Golden State is 4-11 since Garry St. Jean replaced P.J. Carlesimo as head coach.
