ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ Austin Croshere led six players in double figures with 14 points as Indiana beat Orlando 96-89 on Saturday night for the Pacers' 12th victory in 15 games. Orlando led 75-69 after three quarters, but the Pacers started the final period on a 14-2 run and Chris Mullin made three 3-pointers in the final 5:38 to secure the victory. Dale Davis scored 13 points and had a game-high 11 rebounds for Indiana. Travis Best added 13 points, Rik Smits had 12, Reggie Miller 11 and Jalen Rose 10. Orlando, which has lost 11 of its last 12, was led by Tariq Abdul-Wahad with 18 points and Darrell Armstrong with 17. Chris Gatling scored 13 points, but struggled on 3-of-12 shooting. Magic starting center John Amaechi added 10 points, but did not get any rebounds. Orlando also only got two points from starting forward Ben Wallace. Croshere scored seven points to start the fourth quarter and Sam Perkins made a layup at the 9:28 mark as the Pacers took a 78-77 lead with 9:28 remaining. The Pacers would never trail again. Indiana built its lead to 83-77, but the Magic closed it to 83-81 following a 3-pointer by Armstrong. Mullin hit consecutive 3-pointers to put the Pacers ahead 89-81 and hit another at the 2:01 mark to give Indiana a 92-85 lead. Indiana led 64-55 at the 8:05 point of the third quarter but the Magic finished on a 20-5 run to lead 75-69 heading into the final period. Indiana struggled in the quarter, making seven of 21 shots. Indiana led 52-46 at halftime as Smits scored 12 points and Best added 11, all in the second quarter. Abdul-Wahad, Gatling and Pat Garrity led Orlando with eight points each. Notes: Perkins had a season-high nine rebounds. ... Orlando had 23 second-chance points, and Indiana had nine. ... Orlando made only one of seven 3-point attempts.
