TUCSON, Arizona (Ticker) -- Ryan Christenson slugged a grand slam and drove in six runs and Cody McKay had a double and four RBI, leading a split-squad of Oakland Athletics to a 22-10 pasting of the Chicago White Sox. Rich Becker, Eric Chavez, Jeremy Giambi, Miguel Tejada and Frank Menechino had two hits apiece for the Athletics, who pounded out 20 hits. Olmedo Saenz, who may see time at first base as well as at third, is 6-for-16 with four doubles, a homer and four runs scored in five games this spring. Ryan Christenson, also battling for playing time in a congested Oakland outfield, is 5-for-11 with two triples, a homer and seven RBI in four games. Frank Thomas hit a grand slam for the White Sox. Magglio Ordonez and Paul Konerko, who agreed to contracts earlier in the day, homered and had three hits respectively. White Sox starter Mike Sirotka was tattooed for 10 runs and seven hits over 1 2/3 innings. Bill Simas also was hit hard, giving up four runs and five hits in one inning.
