TUCSON, Arizona (Ticker) -- Damian Miller celebrated the birth of his first son with a two-run double as the Arizona Diamondbacks posted a 6-2 Cactus League victory over the Colorado Rockies in a battle of split squads. Miller, a reserve catcher whose wife gave birth to their second child on Monday, highlighted a four-run fourth inning that gave Arizona a 4-0 lead. Nick Bierbrodt, a 6-5 lefthander, pitched a scoreless fourth for the win. Mike Morgan, who is hoping to extend a major league record by playing for his 12th team, pitched three scoreless innings for the Diamondbacks. First-year Rockies starter Masato Yoshii also tossed three scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out two. Stan Belinda, also in his first season with Colorado, was roughed up for four runs and four hits in two innings and took the loss.
