Can a guy who has never won on tour win on Sunday? "Tiger brought every guy back into the field. Every guy who's playing in one of those final groups is jacked. We'll find out on the front nine what Tiger is coming with -- what he's bringing to the table. If I was Bob May or Scott Dunlap or Chalmers or Hayes or Bjorn, I'd be jacked up. Why? Because they have a chance."
Are there anymore 63s or 65s out there? "The greens played much smoother today than they have all week. And the players could go at the pins because the greens were so soft. It was similar to Friday. How low they go on Sunday depends a lot on where the pin placements are. The first day, it was very difficult. It's gotten easier every day. The teeth may come back on Sunday. They usually do in a major championship on the last day."
What happened to Tiger on the back nine? "He looked uncomfortable with his swing today, especially on the back nine -- if we're getting nitpicky. He looked good on the front, but not as good on
the back. He was struggling -- he didn't have it and he admitted it. Nothing much he can do about it."
How different is Sunday for the pros? It's totally different. The first three days, you're trying to get into position. Sunday, you just go for it. The pins are tighter, the heart is beating a little faster, you're a little more nervous. But there's nothing better in the world than to play on Sunday when you know you have a chance. And a lot more guys than we thought have a chance."
