UltraCross made a wild debut on the last day of ESPN's Winter X Games in Mount Snow, Vt. The event paired the top 13 skiers and snowboarders together in a relay-type race. Competitors gave the new sport a thumb's up. "I love it, this is great," said snowboarder Travis McLain. The duo of McLain and Peter Lind walked/snowboarded/skied away with the inaugural gold medal.
