MOUNT SNOW -- Winter X Games organizers, concerned by athlete safety and swirling winds, have altered the Snowboarding Big Air and Skiing Big Air finals set for Sunday. The competitions will take place as planned with two exceptions; 1) The event will now be held at the Slopestyle course, and 2) There will only be a final, with no qualifying. Each athlete will have two runs, with the best run counting as the final score.

The Skiing Big Air final is set for 8:30 a.m., and the men's and women's Snowboarding Big Air finals will be held immediately afterward.

During the Skiing Big Air warmups Saturday, Shane Anderson fell hard on his back, and had to be strapped into a body board and taken off the course. Anderson has a strained back.
