 Winter X Games research staff The Winter X Games will be held Feb. 3-6, 2000 at Mount Snow, Vt. Here are some of the changes for Winter X:  UltraCross: The top 16 skiers and snowboarders will compete in a team relay-style event on the Skier X course. Teams are made up of one skier and one snowboarder.
SuperPipe: The same as the halfpipe -- only bigger!
Snowboarder X: Name change from Boarder X. Also referred to as SBX.
Skiboarding: Moves back to a slopestyle course.
Big Air: A quarterpipe hit will be added to the bottom portion of the runout. The quarterpipe hit will now factor in as a portion of the overall score.
Skiing: The "free" from "Free Skiing" has been dropped. It is no longer free, it is simply skiing.
