MADRAS, India -- Karol Kucera beat Juan Ignacio Chela 6-3, 7-5 on Saturday to advance to the final of the Tata Open.
Kucera, who beat defending champion and top-seeded Guillermo Canas in the quarterfinals, reached his first final since winning the last of his five titles at Basel in October 1999.
Kucera will face second-seeded Paradorn Srichaphan, who beat Jean-Rene Lisnard 6-2, 6-1 in 50 minutes.
The 23-year-old Paradorn reached the finals of the Tata Open for the second straight year. |
