EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Josh Keller's first two MLS goals lifted Tampa Bay to a 3-0 victory Friday over New York/New Jersey, snapping the MetroStars' winning streak at three games.

Keller, in his third season, gave the Mutiny (8-6) the lead in the 11th minute off an assist from Steve Ralston and made it 2-0 12 minutes into the second half.

On the second goal, the MetroStars' defense failed to clear the ball following a flurry in front of the net. Mutiny playmaker Carlos Valderrama controlled the ball and passed it just outside the box to Keller, who rocketed a low shot inside the right post.

Valderrama stretched his streak of registering an assist against the MetroStars to 10 games.

The Mutiny sealed their second straight road victory when Joe Addo scored off Manny Lagos' assist with two minutes left.

The Mutiny outscored the MetroStars 8-6 in the first half, but missed an opportunity in the 25th minute when MLS scoring leader Mamadou Diallo's header from 12 feet out hit the crossbar.

Mutiny goalkeeper Scott Garlick stopped the MetroStars' best first-half chance when he saved Mark Chung's header in the 31st minute. The MetroStars (6-7) had another scoring opportunity in the 52nd minute, when forward Clint Mathis came in alone on Garlick from the right side. But the goalkeeper kicked the ball away for one of his four saves.
