  RECAP | BOX SCORE

FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) -- Ansil Elcock scored the deciding goal of a shootout Saturday night as the Columbus Crew defeated the New England Revolution 1-0.

Jeff Cunningham, Stern John and Robert Warzycha also converted in the 4-1 shootout for the Crew, while Joe-Max Moore found the net for New England.

Neither team scored in regulation. Columbus is 17-11 while New England (10-19) has won just twice since the All-Star break. The Revolution are trying for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and are fifth, one point behind Miami, which plays San Jose on Sunday.

Before the shoot, New England coach Walter Zenga had to be restrained by Revolution officials after getting into an argument with referee Ted Covaciu.
