Red Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek was pulled over by Detroit police for speeding Tuesday morning.

Hasek, who was on his way to the team's morning skate, was ticketed for driving at 65 mph in a 45-mph construction zone on the Lodge Freeway at 10:35 a.m. ET.

Hasek and the Wings play the Hurricanes tonight in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals at Joe Louis Arena.
