PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Daymond Langkow showed off his new-found confidence -- at the expense of his former Tampa Bay teammates.

Langkow and Eric Lindros each scored two goals, and rookie Brian Boucher made 17 saves as the Phildelphia Flyers beat the Lightning 4-1 on Saturday night.

"I'm definitely playing with as much confidence as I've ever had," said Langkow, who has points in 10 of his last 11 games.

"That's probably the biggest thing because when you play with that kind of confidence you show up good and seem to get a lot of bounces your way."

Langkow struggled after being acquired from Tampa Bay last December. He failed to score in the final 22 regular-season and playoff games and the first eight games this season.

"After a while you can't focus on that," said Langkow, who has four goals and two assists in his last four games. "I just had to concentrate on playing well and being consistent. I tried to work on going to the net more in practice."

Eric Desjardins added three assists, giving him 300 for his NHL career, as the Flyers (11-7-3) extended their home unbeaten string to six games. Philadelphia is 11-2-2 after opening the season 0-5-1 -- the worst start in franchise history.

Andrei Zyuzin scored for the Lightning (7-11-1), who have lost four straight on the road.

Tampa Bay was blanked on three power-play opportunities, all in the first period. The Lightning were held without a shot on goal during 44 seconds of a two-man advantage in the period.

"We just didn't have a good night," said Tampa Bay's Mike Sillinger, a former Flyer. "They seemed to have their sticks in all the right places and they played very solid defensively."

Lindros scored his seventh goal on a power play at 16:52 of the first period to give Philadelphia a 1-0 lead. His wrist shot from bounced high in the air off the chest of goalie Kevin Hodson.

The Flyers captain also thwarted a Lightning scoring chance midway through that period, sweeping the puck away as it trickled near the goal line after being tipped by Stephen Guolla.

Langkow made it 2-0 at 11:46 of the second, flipping the puck past Hodson's stick side from the slot.

"Langkow has been terrific," Lindros said. "He's penalty-killing well, he's doing a great job on the power play, he's winning faceoffs, and he's been up and down the ice."

Philadelphia broke the game open with two goals in a 24-second span early in the third. Lindros deflected a slap shot by Desjardins into the goal at 6:02, and Langkow scored off a deflection of Mikael Renberg's shot.

"We all felt pretty good when we battled back to make it 2-1 going into the third period," Sillinger said. "Then, bang-bang they score a couple of quick ones. We've got a young defense and they're going to make mistakes. Hopefully they learn from them."

The Flyers, who lead the NHL with 23 power-play goals, are 5-0-2 in their last seven home games against Tampa Bay.
