PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Mark Recchi scored a power-play goal and set up another as the Philadelphia Flyers earned a home-and-home preseason split with a 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers.

Paul Healey and Rod Brind'Amour also scored for the Flyers, who were one of four winless teams before improving to 1-3. They have had two games canceled because of inclement weather.

Todd Harvey and Mike York scored for New York, which won 2-1 on Thursday.

Recchi tallied his second goal of the preseason with 4:20 left in the second period as Philadelphia grabbed a 3-1 lead. He picked up a loose puck at the left faceoff circle and snuck a shot through Kirk McLean's pads.

Brind'Amour, who did not play Thursday, took a feed from Recchi 7:25 earlier and opened the scoring with a power-play goal, his first.

Harvey tied it at 11:17 but Healey put the Flyers ahead for good with six minutes to play in the period, beating McLean with a slap shot from the left circle.

Flyers stars Eric Lindros and John LeClair returned to the lineup after sitting out Thursday. Lindros assisted on Brind'Amour's goal.

John Vanbiesbrouck stopped 26 shots against his former team while McLean finished with 32 for his new one.
