About the play: Tampa Bay will try to move rookie quarterback Shaun King to the perimeter whenever possible. King is athletic, poised and capable. Moving King around will keep Detroit guessing on what defense to use against him.

"Silver 84" is a great red-zone pass. Rolling King out of the pocket creates several options. He can pull up and hit the delay to the Z receiver, Bert Emanuel. He can hit the H, Jacquez Green, on the corner for a touchdown (if he gets man-to-man coverage).

If both of those options are taken away, King can hit tje X receiver, Reidel Anthony, on the backside drag route. This is usually open because the defense will be in a chase mode on the rollout.

King's final option -- still a good one -- is to run the ball, which he does well. If the defense drops, then there should be some running room. Yards are hard to come by in the red zone. Small gains matter.

Keys to the play: The big key is King's ability to make a quick decision on the run. He has four choices and about 3.5 seconds to choose. He cannot premeditate his choice. He must read the play step by step, and must never pass up an open receiver to get to another read.

Critical player: It is critical that the Y receiver, tight end Dave Moore, pin his block inside so King can break containment and open up his options.
