About the play: Atlanta needs big plays to win. "Sprint bomb" is a way to create a big play without much risk. This is a well protected play that gives Chris Chandler time and the resources to make a good decision. Chandler will make this look like a sprint pass to the right. He will let the defense see him look at his receiver, but when he gets to the tight end alignment at eight yards deep, he will pull up and throw back to Tim Dwight, who is making it look like the play is going to the other side. Dwight will only go about 80 percent until he sees his cornerback squat or sit down, then he will burst by the corner and look for the ball deep. Terance Mathis is running a deep in-route to attract the safety. This is a great play from around midfield. Look for this after a turnover. Keys to the play: The key is the offensive linemen. They must seal off every gap to protect Chandler. This play will take longer to develop than any in the playbook. Good protection is paramount. It also is critical that Chandler not go any further in his set-up than the tight end. If he does then the tight end's block is too difficult for him to reach the linebacker, which would result in a big hit and sack. Chandler has to be precise on his timing and drop to ensure a big-play possibility. | ALSO SEE Week 12 previews
