X-rays were negative, and Hobert will be re-evaluated Monday.

	Saints QB Billy Joe Hobert took a pair of hits to the head and went down for the count in the second quarter.

Hobert was hit in the head and left shoulder by Bears linebacker Sean Harris as he crossed the goal line. He continued running, and then took a vicious, forearm-to-helmet hit on the top of his head from Bears linebacker Rico McDonald. His head snapped to the side from the impact.

Hobert rolled over on his back, grimacing, and lay on the field for almost 15 minutes while he was examined by medical personnel from both teams. Numerous Saints and Bears players patted Hobert's hands and chest as he was put on the cart. Fans, who were silent while he was on the ground, yelled encouragement as he was driven off the field.

"I thought I got my arms broke," Hobert said. "Sort of scary when you think you broke your throwing arm, but it's nothing big. I don't think it's that bad. We'll see."

Hobert was moving his hands and feet when he was on the ground, and he was opening and closing his fingers while he left the field.

Hobert was 8-of-13 for 76 yards, and his 2-yard TD run gave New Orleans a 7-0 lead. He also was sacked twice for a loss of 29 yards.

Hobert, 28, is in his seventh NFL season, his third with the Saints. He was replaced by Billy Joe Tolliver.
