20 QUESTIONS
1 If you could be a cartoon character or super hero, who would you be and why?
Wonder Woman. I've always liked her. When I was young, there weren't many female super heroes. Plus, I also liked the theme song -- I thought it said, "Juana Woman."
2 What was your parents' favorite saying?
My mother always says, "Everything that's good to you is not always good for you."
3 Who's the best player you've ever faced?
Purdue grad Ukari Figgs.
4 Who's the one player, man or woman, you'd want to take one-on-one?
I really can't come up with anyone. I'm not really a one-on-one person.
5 What's your favorite movie?
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
6 How did you get started playing basketball?
My mother made me. I loved running track, but outside of track season, I didn't do anything and she didn't want me sitting around. She took me to the community center when I was in fifth grade and signed me up for basketball. I cried for a few days because I wanted to do track -- I wanted to be like Wilma Rudolph. But then I saw that basketball was something that came natural to me and I fell in love with it.
7 If you weren't a basketball player, what would you be?
A chef.
8 What's the last CD you bought?
Jill Scott, "Who is Jill Scott?"
9 If a movie was made about you, which actress would you like to see cast to play you?
Sanaa Lathan, from "Love and Basketball."
10 Why do you wear your jersey number?
In eighth grade, I wanted 13, but someone already had it. Anfernee Hardaway was playing at Memphis then, and he wore 25, so I went with that.
11 What's your favorite pre-game meal?
Chicken and pasta, which is what we always have.
12 What's your favorite junk food?
I'm not much of a junk-food eater, but I do like strawberry Pop Tarts.
13 If you were stuck on a deserted island, what's the only thing you'd take with you?
Food.
14 When you think of St. Louis, what do you think of (other than the Final Four)?
The arch and Six Flags. It's the closest one to Memphis, so I've been there a few times.
15 What's your favorite TV show?
Mad About You.
16 If you could invite any three people (dead or alive) to dinner, who would they be?
I would invite my older sister, who passed away when I was young, and Jesus, because I'd just like to be in his presence.
17 What is the one thing you can't get through the day without?
Prayer.
18 What's something we don't know about you?
When I was young, the thing I was scared of is that I wouldn't be successful. Also, the thing I hate the most is the smell of chitlins.
19 If you changed your name, what would you change it to?
Tiffany.
