Nebraska linebacker Jamie Burrow recovered a fumble and rambled 28 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. Up until then, Missouri hung tough with the Huskers. Losing quarterback Kirk Farmer to a broken collarbone earlier in the quarter didn't help the Tigers either.Nebraska wideout Bobby Newcombe, who set a school record with a 94-yard punt return for a touchdown. Dontae Walker broke free on a 61-yard run to the Florida 1, setting up quarterback Wayne Madkin's sneak into the end zone for a 40-23 lead with just over eight minutes to play.The 1-2 punch of running backs Dicenzo Miller and Dontae Walker, who combined for 328 of MSU's 351 yards on the ground. Miller had 172 of those yards, while Walker added 156 yards for an offense that piled up 517 yards overall.Oct. 7 vs. LSU

Lee Suggs scored his second TD of the afternoon in the third quarter to give the Hokies a 42-20 lead. While BC didn't lay down -- scoring twice in the fourth quarter -- it never seriously threatened Tech over the final 15 minutes.While Suggs finished with 145 yards and two scores, it was Michael Vick who once again put on a show. Despite receiving a scare when he fell awkwardly on his left knee, Vick ran for 210 yards -- the most ever for a Tech quarterback -- and three TDs. Jonathan Beasley threw his third touchdown pass of the first half. The toss completed a 21-point outburst by the Wildcats to close out the half and gave them a 34-13 lead by halftime.Jonathan Beasley, who completed 15 of 25 passes for 293 yards and three TDs. Beasley helped K-State to its 30th straight victory in the month of September, a streak that dates to 1991. Oct. 7 at Kansas

Matt Smith knocked down Marques Tuiasosopo's fourth-down pass with 1:52 to play. Smith also had an interception for a Ducks defense that spurred Oregon to its 18th straight home victory.Joey Harrington was efficient in leading the Ducks offense. He threw for one TD and ran for another. But the excitement came from Keenan Howry, who had 128 return yards called back because of Oregon penalties. Oh, and the final three scoring drives each took less than 46 seconds.Gotta go with Woodrow Dantzler, who continued to make a case for Heisman consideration. LSU linebacker Bradie James broke up a fourth-down pass in the end zone, preserving the Tigers' victory after the Vols had scored the final 16 points in regulation and blocked a potential game-winning field goal as time ran out in the fourth quarter.Rohan Davey, who wore a brace on his knee because of tendinitis and did his best Willis Reed impersonation after injuring his ankle in the second half. Nevertheless, he threw four touchdown passes in his first start of the year, including the 25-yard game-winner to Robert Royal on the first play of overtime.Oct. 7 at Georgia

Well, Butch Davis figured late in the second quarter when he lifted starting quarterback Ken Dorsey. By then, Dorsey had thrown three TDs and the 'Canes were well on their way to a 41-0 halftime lead.We just may have enough for the fans who stuck around until the bitter end of this one in Piscataway, N.J. After all, it was the worst loss by Rutgers at home in 112 years -- a 80-0 setback to Princeton in 1888.Oct. 7 vs. Florida State

While it may not have been "over," when Roy Williams hauled in a Major Applewhite pass and went 96 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter for a 17-7 lead, the Longhorns were well on their way to victory.Can we give half a game ball? If so, Major Applewhite gets it. Once again, the Texas offense started slow, but behind its quarterback wound up with big numbers. Applewhite passed for 291 yards and three second-half TDs, as the Longhorns rolled up 504 total yards.Oct. 7 vs. Oklahoma

The Jayhawks went scoreless after halftime, but did roll up 284 first-half yards.Oklahoma quarterback Josh Heupel, who threw for 346 yards and a touchdown. The Sooners' J.T. Thatcher's three interceptions deserve mention, but he was also part of the defense that gave up way too many yards early in the game.Oct. 7 vs. Texas

UCLA's Cory Paus and Freddie Mitchell teamed up on an 80-yard pass play with 1:31 left in the third quarter to snap a 28-all tie and put the Bruins ahead for good.Not sure if this says UCLA has a bunch of great backs or it takes two people to replace DeShaun Foster, who suffered a broken hand in the game, but game balls to Jermaine Lewis, who had 104 yards and a TD, and Akil Harris, who added 100 yards and two TDs.Oct. 14 at California

The Boilermakers got the ball back, but didn't threaten to score in the waning seconds.Penn State's Derek Wake, who twice came right through the middle of the Purdue line to thwart Travis Dorsch punts. Wake didn't block either punt, but allowed his friends on special teams to tackle Dorsch and set up touchdowns. Oct. 7 vs. Michigan

The Tigers' special teams, which not only scored on the blocked punt, but also got tricky when kicker Damon Duval threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Lorenzo Diamond.Oct. 7 at Mississippi State

Dewayne Woods scored on a 52-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. Memphis never really threatened to pull the upset, but the score remained 10-3 before Woods scored the first of two late TDs.As has been the case all season, the Golden Eagles' defense set the tone. Southern Miss has not give up a touchdown in more than 13 quarters. It intercepted three passes Saturday, one by Leo Barnes, who went 31 yards for a touchdown with 1:15 remaining to make a close game look like a mismatch.Oct. 7 vs. South Florida

It became apparent the Illini couldn't stop Tellis Redmon, who ran for 151 of his 183 yards in the first half and the Gophers took a 28-3 lead into halftime.Tellis Redmon is happy just to have his starting job back, so this ball goes to the Minnesota defense for the job it did on an Illini offense which had scored 140 points in its first four games.Oct. 14 vs. Iowa

Alabama quarterback Andrew Zow turned the Tide one last time by scoring on an eight-yard keeper with 5:07 to play. Zow didn't start the game, but came in on the third series and never left, hitting 14 of 26 passes for 149 yards. The Tide's Milo Lewis, who intercepted two fourth-quarter passes, including one that set up Zow's final touchdown run.Oct. 7 at Kentucky

Bruce Thornton went 21 yards for a touchdown to close out the Bulldogs' first-half scoring. Georgia led 28-0 at halftime.The Georgia defense, which set the tone with Jamie Henderson's interception return for a touchdown on the first play of the game, and then held Arkansas to just five first downs, 105 yards and no points over the first three quarters.Oct. 7 vs. Tennessee
